First TC - Fundamental Check

Goal: Check Fundamentals & get practice tips Hi Everyone, I’m a new member to the site & this is my first Technique Critique. I’ve gone through the Pickslanting Primer course & would really like some feedback on how I can get better. I struggle picking at moderate speeds, especially when adding in string changes. I’m also not quite sure if I’m doing the motion correctly to start with. My goal for right now is to really nail down the fundamentals & also get some feedback on how to practice this stuff to get better. I’m not looking to be a shred monster (yet) but it would really help everything if my top speed was upgraded. I’ve uploaded a video here where I do some tremolo picking on one string only, then do a basic two note pattern going from the high e to b string. I wanted to show both versions because things change when I start incorporating string changes. For reference, I was trying to do double escape motion but it sure looks like USX on the tremolo picking & terrible string hopping when changing strings.
