So on this one - I have rewatched a lot of the Primer. I did two approaches in the same clip with a bit of chat to describe what my "feeling" is for each one.

So here is an updated clip. I’ve been watching-rewatching the reverse dart videos a lot. The tremolo picking here is MOSTLY not causing excessive strain - occasionally it perks up a bit. I think the arm movement is minimized a bit more than before. What’s interesting is that when I try to play a lick (which I do in the clip) 1. The speed is drastically slower 2. I think the form is changing from the tremolo styled pick 3. When I return to the tremolo pick - it feels way easier and more relaxed than before - as if the adventure into skipping strings and playing scales was revealing bad technique and it’s just relaxing to go back to a good old tremolo again. * Can you clarify if my tremolo bits are USX or am I misinterpreting them? (I guess despite watching the videos - I’m not sure how Reverse Dart thrower fits into the USX vs DSX world… is reverse dart a USX movement or can it be both?) * Does my form change/Do I revert to string-hopping when trying a clunky little scale line in the video? * If I do have the tremolo “reverse dart” in decent shape without causing too much strain… should I be attempting to do specific scales or exercises to start working on the string switching? Here's the fastest I've been able to get the Yngwie phrase going (as per Troy's direction to see if I'm still string hopping). I feel like my picking hand can easily move faster but my fretting hand is strained and not keeping up)
