problems with my reverse dart throw

Description

i went through all the primer course, even attached the sticky notes! i feel like i got the motion WITHOUT the guitar, but: 1. when i try to pick at the same speed - i have garage spikes 2. when i avoid garage spikes - the speed is MUCH slower EDIT: i feel that my DOWNSTROKES are missing something too.. in volume and movement, if that makes sense. i try to come back (downstroke) that same path as the upstroke, but i don't know if that's really what's happening

1. tapping on the bridge 2. cha-ching on g string 3. slow upstrokes on g string 4. trying fast cha-chings (alternate picking) on g string. i was THINKING just about the upstrokes 5. cha-chings on e string 6. trying fast just-upstrokes on e string. feel like everything falls apart
