Fast Fretting 3/31/26

Hi Joao, It’s been a couple months since my last check in and I’d like some feedback on how I’m doing and what to work on. I’ve been trying to get my speed up working single string triplets, single string 16th chromatics, and a two string box (5 7 D & then 57 G as an example). I think I’m seeing some progress but really feel like I’m hitting a wall with speed, especially with my fretting hand. Even when I just fret and don’t pick I’m really struggling to move faster than 140 bpm 16ths in that box drill. Is this a normal speed to have fretting problems or are you seeing anything specific that might be holding me back? What do you think I should work on next? Thanks!
