Getting started with DSX i think
Description
Hello team! Long time player here, been stuck at 16th notes at 110 for as long as i can remember. I can get a decent tremolo going with both DSX and USX, but i think maybe I'm a natural DSX player, since that's closest to my old slow technique. I also struggle a bit with muting and control when doing the USX, which in my case may be a bit of a gypsy style technique? I've been trying a bit of the Gilbert sixes, and I'm stoked just to be able to string together more than 10 notes at 140 bpm+ tempo. The sixes are usually a bit smother, but camera placement made it a bit difficult. I am really struggling with pentatonics or 2 note per strings playing at tempo, but maybe that's for a later time. Hope you can point me in the right direction. I would like you to confirm that dsx is the right choice for me to beggin with, and maybe give me some pointers on licks or patterns i should try. I'm mainly a blues/country/soul/jazz player. Thanks!Lesson Category
