DSX + DBX = Mixed Escape

Description

Hey there! It's been a minute, but I have been practicing away trying to make some sense of this move I have; the Herring type rotation is difficult to maintain for continuous fast 16ths, (Starts to get really tough 150-160) but seems to really work well for a quick "burst" like, 1 5 note grouping a la EJ 5's. So I got to thinking that my regular DSX move (D UD UD) might work for one, because I can do that pretty much endlessly without any real fatigue or anything. Plus, if I do it Then, I could do another 5 note grouping using my Herring DBX (U DU DU), and rinse/repeat carry the sequence on through the scale. Seems not too bad actually, and allows me to play without fatigue, and utilize my DSX stuff interchangeably. lol Not easy, doing my best but holy cow is this tough! Anyways, I wondered if you could take a look and maybe verify what I "think" I am doing; I can do this quite a bit faster (and messier! About 16ths at 170.) but this is about the point where it feels like it's kind of falling apart. I am kind of hesitant to push much further with this because I am afraid that I am doing a crappy kind of two way pick slanting flip-flop thing You know, maybe I have a trully horrendous USX that I am attempting to do? The same concept seems to work ok for a 3nps scale ascending and descending and as well, 2 string sixes. I'd like to try and apply it to a 1nps type thing but I just don't know how that works out exactly or if it does... Thanks in advance, guys. I am certainly pretty happy with the Herring move as it is, it's opened a lot of new doors for me musically.
