Hey everyone! After a break from guitar (became a dad—best kind of detour!), I’m finally back and have been practicing consistently for the past 5 months. I've hit a bit of a wall with my picking technique, especially when it comes to faster lines and string changes.
I'm not experiencing any problems when playing slow, but mostly when speeding up if feel kind of "lost" with my picking hand. Overall my hand sync is still pretty messy but I'm working on that with the exercises from the last TC.
I also feel like I technically have the speed "in me" as in, my picking hand has the potential to pick fast (see: Tremolo video from last TC) but the accuracy and control is lacking.
I hope the sound quality is alright, I had to improvise (had to put my phone in between my headphones, because I'm not using an amp anymore. I'm using Plugins!)
I’ve uploaded some videos to show where I’m at, and I’d really appreciate any feedback, exercises, or a possible roadmap to help me improve from here. If there’s anything else you need to better assess, feel free to ask.

Hello CtC Team!
I'm pretty much a beginner (I've owned a Guitar for several years but tried learning songs here and there and always dropping the hobby). I'm now looking to take guitar practicing more seriously and am looking to get good fundamentals so I can try to be as creative as possible down the line.
Right now as you can see off of my Videos, my playing seems very sloppy - notes get muted and overall there is no real fluidity in my playing.
When trying to play at (relatively to my ability) higher speeds I immediately stumble over what I'm playing, losing the overall feel of left hand fretting and on my right hand, on which string I am on.
Also I think on my EJ / Yngwie licks I seem to be stringhopping I think, but then agian, I'm not really sure.
I can't seem to wrap my head around playing faster than on the recorded Videos. When I try to apply "chunking" I can't hear any other note than the one I am focusing on, which is partly why I lose track of my left hand fretting.
Any tips or solutions are more than welcome and I'm really open to really try anything to get to playing at the best of my abilities!
