Trying to fix/upgrade my picking technique and avoid string hopping

Description

Trying to fix my picking technique to something effortless and fast without the string hopping i am currently doing. I would like your help to find what am i doing wrong and at the same time to find the best picking technique that suits me best. I am indeed comfortable playing at 120/140 bpm 16 notes, but thats my maximum playing with notes. Random tremolo without notes i am able to play much faster I am left handed, but playing a right handed guitar since ever and that could have some implication on the right hand i would guess Thank you

Hello! So as asked i added a video with a better close up (the best i can, with the highest rate my phone is able to do) doing tremolo on the g string. What you think of this picking? And how would you describe it and which player you think it does resemble? Thank you!
