reverse dart question

Hey! I renewed my subscription to cracking the code because I had a lot of questions about my picking technique:) I believe I'm doing the 'reverse dart' technique in the added video to this critique. I saw the video about building endurance and speed. In that video there is said that you should run a checklist if all of your muscles that can be incorporated during alternate picking are relaxed. I find it very hard when doing the reverse dart throwing motion to keep my muscles relaxed. I know that it isn't an instant speed gain, but I don't know if I'm doing it wrong. The pea sized bone is making contact with the bridge, but so is the 'cushion' part below my thumb. I also feel a bit of tension in my forearm, directly the part that goes from my wrist (underside that touches the bridge slightly) to my elbow. The video isn't an exact bpm. My max speed with a metronome without tension is 1-2 bars. 16th notes at 180bpm. after those amount of bars, tensions starts to come up, but not in a way that it slows down my playing, the movements just keeps getting bigger. When tapping on the pickguard, I can reach 200 bpm without tension. How do I improve speed. Do I wait to bump up the bpm when I can play 180bpm relaxed for as long as I want, or does it work differently. Is there anything to change about my picking technique from what's visible on the video and from what I describe? I'm really curious if this is the right picking technique for me. It feels natural to play like this, but I don't do the motion exactly as it is described (keep your arm hanging, wrist relaxed idea, but then on the guitar body, which creates the slight angle in the forearm for reverse dart motion The reason I chose reverse dart throwing motion is that I feel it's a lot easier to combine with 2way pickslanting for petrucci stuff etc. As far as I can remember the other techniques like forearm are not suitable for this. Last thing. The more my arm tenses up, the more volume I get. I remember hearing that if you can't make volume, it's probably not a great technique for me. Thanks in advance! I hope I've made it somewhat clear:) I've also attached a video where I show how I put my arm down. I hope it's visible. Update: Yesterday and today I tried to hold to pick a bit more on the top (more pick sticking out underneath my fingers). This made things a lot smoother/ more controllable. Only thing is that my front delt is a bit tense, but not in an exhausting way, more that it’s activated. I was wondering if that’s a bad thing or if it’s okay. My elbow also activates a bit, but also not in an exhausting or sore way. I managed to do 180bpm for as long as I liked, and even managed 220bpm with tension with this way of doing it.
