Trying to practice the volcano sequence with some intention. I can definitely play it cleaner when I slow down. But from what I understand, practicing at that comfortable speed it’s not the best way to get it faster!

Well, I’ve made improvements over the last few months. I still feel like I’m getting sloppy on the D A and E strings.

This is kind of a new technique critique- unrelated to the PG lick; I was listening to Eric Gales and JoBo and I’m back on a cascade kick. While working through the legato turnaround video I can’t see what your left hand is doing. Also, as I’m watching my video I’m realizing my technique is a jumbled amalgam of DSX, DBx?, and even fingerpicking at times. Not to say that this is bad- it adds variety. But- I can’t seem to track from the higher strings to the lower strings vertically- a hallmark of the cascade technique- whiteout it getting ensnarled.
