Attempting 2NPS Pentatonics ascending at 150 bpm. It feels "stuck" and makes a loud pop on some of the strings, lots of force required to get through for a somewhat clean attempt. Most of the time the motion stops working halfway through.

I play the Gilbert descending sixes starting with a downstroke. To get this smooth I need a pretty clear DSX and upward pickslant (although this type of playing is pretty foreign to me so it's not very consistent). You can see at the end of the video I use my regular USX style picking, and it doesn't work at all for the lick.

Attempting DSX gilbert about as fast as I can pick (using wrist motion at least). Was very choppy and felt like I was getting caught on the strings, somedays it's better, today was pretty poor.

Attempting USX Gilbert sixes, first I use a minor 3nps shape (same as other video) then I try a chromatic shape and that works better. Again about my max speed from wrist motion.

USX tremolo motion at 170bpm 16ths, using mostly wrist motion. This is my limit unless I’m practicing a lot of trem picking and then I can usually hit about 180-190 when I’m in good form.

Doing another attempt at trem down stroke chunking, this time a little slower. In general my picking today felt a little more "sticky" than the last attempt i did, but still pretty good.
