Pick grip and motion

Description

Currently going through the pick slanting primer. I find the pen motion the most comfortable and notice as I pick up speed I’m using the elbow and tensing up my tricep.

Started to warmup. I believe I put the pick below the first knuckle or at least start off that way.

Jazz 3- I believe I use more of a wrist motion at slower speeds but when trying to go fast definitely incorporate the elbow. Should I try to use the elbow for slower speeds as well?

Seems like a pretty efficient motion. I’m not sure if I’m doing a usx with a downward pick slant or dbx.
