Here is a video demoing what it looks like if I try to take alternate picking across the strings. I don’t practice this type of thing at all because I’ve been focused on getting my speed up on a single string. But I feel a “hiccup” in my string tracking around the cross between the G and B strings that makes me feel like I’m hitting a speed bump.
