USX.. or not?

Hi there! A little context: I was a CtC member some five years or so ago. I believe I used to be DSX but I dont have any video from that time. Back then I wanted to learn DBX (still called TWPS) and went on a USX first journey. Because I admire the Winter Madness solo since my youth I practiced USX so much that it is my primary technique now. I was doing what i thought to be DBX at the same time as well, but I came back to CtC because I felt something still lacking so I wanted to improve my USX and that's my focus right now. I went into a rabbit hole of insane insanity, trying to figure my or any picking technique at this point because I thought I forgot everything about picking. I experimented a lot with different pick grips, angles and posture in general. Now, I think I arrived at some USX variant of RDT but I sometimes lack consistency in the picking. I notice it falls apart especially on the high E-string. It is noticeable right at the beginning of the first video where I seem to have like start-up problems that get better as i continue to pick on the string. I dont have this on the G-String I believe. Then when I continue on the ionian ascending run I start to feel stuck or running after that high E-String and I think this is noticeable on the empty strings but gets even worse when the left hand joins in. While I belive to know that this is partly a sync issue I think it's not the only issue, as it's already evident in the empty string picking. The second video shows the same scale and depicts that problem more clearly as well. Now, watching this I think I don't always escape the string on the upstroke which might also lead to feeling a lack of fluidity (that is also evident in the videos) which is often the case. All in all this sometimes disappears (and sometimes doesnt) as I warm up more so I believe it might be related to micro adjustments in the different angles that play a part but I can't seem to figure this one out myself. I hope this is not too many problems confronted but I feel it might be rooted in the same cause. Really sorry for the long text and for the mess. I hope you can make sense of it!
