My First TC

Just started the primer. I’m trying to diagnose what kind of picking mechanic I use for my primary motion - and understand what I can do to avoid getting stuck on certain types of phrases, like the licks at the end of the video. If I had to guess, I think I’m using a USX motion and the reason I get stuck is because I start string hopping and awkwardly rotating my wrist when I play lines where the string chance ends on a downstroke.
