Some phrases sound sloppy when playing fast

Im new to cracking the code and just started the pick slanting primer videos yesterday I would like some critique on my current technique and also what am i doing wrong in PaulGilbert’s technical difficulties lick. I have been trying to nail it since almost a decade but it feels impossible and sloppy i am not exactly sure what im doing wrong. I also noticed when paying fast sometime it sounds very “Scratchy” I have attached some Tremolo picking, 2 note per string examples Thank you
