One position to rule them all

I have 2 very different picking styles. One i palm mute (reverse dart and wrist) and can play chugs and down pick well. In it, I can't gallop real well and I certainly can't play fast lead. The other I thumb mute (forward dart and elbow morton) and can speed up pretty well for lead lines but I can't chug or down pick well. My thumb plant falls off the bridge and I lose all control. I would love help trying to find a way that I can do both with one hand position.
