12/31/23 Segovia

Here I am performing a simple Segovia scale. Two notes on the A string, 3 notes on the D string, 4notes on the G string, 3 notes on the B string, 3 notes on the E string. as I ascend, I change each string with a sweeping downstroke. This keeps my right hand, moving up and down. When I finish the ascent, the last note is played with the downstroke, but I don’t attempt to correct this, since it is free of any strings below it, and therefore I descend to the G string with an upstroke a reverse sweep if you will. When I reach the D string that has only three notes on it I do a pull off on the second note in this position is my right hand, so that it can transition to the a string without an interruption to the up down stroke. I am not sure if this is the correct way of doing things, but believe that it is. Your input is greatly appreciated.

12/31/23 6 note

Here I am working the 6 note per string exercise. Again looking to determine what picking style I should pursue. It seems to me that I am downward slanting and dart throwing. I like the left right hand coordination this exercise develops (as bad as I am doing it-actually a bit off stage fright.

Happy New Year and thank you for your prior review. You suggested that I was an up slanting picker and that I should use that as a basis going forward. You also asked that I determine if I am either a dart thrower or a reverse dart thrower. As I believe the attached video shows mine is a dart thrower movement. Also, based on my observation, I think I am a downward slanting picker (in my prior video I consciously presumed an upward slant position based on something I saw in the primer-frankly it’s the first time I ever gave it any thought). Neither up or down feels awkward but it seems that down is more prevalent. I am only too happy to be corrected on any of this and I value your opinion

These videos show me doing a variety of things with the hope that you can give me an overall analysis before e we get into specifics. Just looking for a statement of where I am.
