Description

My pick just doesn’t cut through the strings all the time, especially when doing the faster triplet stuff. i’m wondering if i’m just at my max speed (yet sometimes i can get it and i don’t feel *that* tense). basically, i lose smoothness Edit: based on further viewing, it looks like i don’t maintain my upward escape pick angle in all cases. in other words, sometimes, i don’t let my pick rest on the string below my target string. instead it glides over that string like a sloppy downward escape. in some cases my rest stroke is shallow and doesn’t hit that lower string at all (“lower” as in below the string i’m supposed to be hitting, not tonally) and, in other cases, i’m not picking the right string. these are my observations at least
