Description
Rusty Cooley is not just a pioneer of technical guitar playing, but also of guitar technique investigation. He occupies a special place in Cracking the Code history as the first player to test each generation of our slow-motion technology: the original computer-controlled ShredCam, and the earliest version of our smartphone-powered Magnet.
For this three-interview retrospective, we went back to the original master tapes and files, in some cases over 20 years old, to produce a completely remastered edition with hours of new footage:
Rusty Cooley 2013 – A 1.5-hour discussion with a massive 150 musical examples
Rusty Cooley 2005 – A 1-hour discussion with 48 musical examples
Rusty Cooley 2003 – A fun collection of the six original pocket camera recordings that began the story
The complete set is over two hours of interview time and over 190 musical examples with tablature
