Ardisher Eights Asc
Description
My DSX / upward pickslanting picking is improving but still not quite "there." Here is my take on Ardeshir's Asc Eights from the Pickslanting Primer. I repeat the notes on the B and high E strings because they were the trouble spot initially. (Perhaps due to fingering rather than picking.) Does this pick angle seem right? Too steep? Not steep enough? I realized I was playing with too much tension in my left (fretting) hand. I'm increasingly mindful of that. The more I relax, the more smoothly I play. I'm finding and practicing more DSX licks and patterns. Day by day and week by week the results are coming in. It's better. Still not sure it's "just right" but it's much better than it was. ;o)Lesson Category
